Yard work part two

So we finished up the grass portion of our yard on Sunday. We actually came up a little short on sod...but Lowes had the exact grass we needed from the same supplier! PHEW!
Digging trenches....this is only the beginning.
Tucson has ridiculously hard ground

More irrigation stuff....
Ahhh flat....
And the sprinklers work!
Starting to lay out sod...which was super heavy...
Autumn excited about her grass.

You can sort of see where the patio is going to go.

Hooray!
Moosen's corner....we'll be putting a dog house there soon.

The borders on the left will be where our little fire pit will go.

Backyard renovation part one

So my dad came down to help us work on our backyard. That's cheap labor!
Our yard is full of huge rocks for some ridiculous reason! We spent more time than I wanted just picking this up and moving them.
I didn't take a picture before everything. So basically we ripped out our 3 ugly beaugs and a huge oleander bush. Then we had to break them down....thorns are not awesome.

Our beautiful grass.
Some more ugly yard.

Our ground was completely full of rocks and very hard so this tiller was a life saver.

Dad probably went over the whole yard three times with the tiller.
Raking it all out for the fiftyith time.

rolling it out so we can fill in the holes

aaahhh...level ground

Laying out the irrigation last night.
So now the guys are trenching for the pipes and our sod is in the driveway!
I didn't get a good picture of how our yard sloped but it did! We did a lot of tilling and raking to get it as level as it is right now!

Veteran's Day Parade

I took Autumn to the Veteran's Day Parade and pretty much watched it by myself while she played. It was an alright parade, I've definitely seen better.
Autumn and her boyfriend for the day. Many of you know that Autumn loves to hold hands with kids, but this time SHE wasn't the one asking the little boy was.
Autumn's awesome toy that I bought and that broke in two minutes.

They were doing gymnastics

Air Autumn Part II

I posted the pictures a minute ago, but decided to add the video too. So here's Autumn getting some nice air-time.

Air Autumn

Believe it or not Autumn would never let us throw her in the air when she was a baby. She hated it and would cry if we even started to let go. Now that she's around 40 pounds though, she loves it, lucky me...

I never would have gotten away with this a year ago.

If you look close enough, at the impact Tinkerbell lost her wings

This was when I was starting to tire.

Sooooo happy.

This was a couple days later, this is what Autumn looks like after her pony tail is taken out.

Minnie Mouse

Autumn requested to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween this year. We had a pretty busy day and had about 5 minutes to get her ready! She was also really tired because she did not nap! I was going to do a couple other things with her make up but I just didn't have time.
She wouldn't open her eyes
This was the end result of the night...Autumn got all this candy herself.

Sucking on a dum dum

Hanging out with Dad
We had Moose out while we passed out candy, but he was really freaked out by people in masks!

Mouthful of chocolate.

Pumpkin Carving with Brit-Face

A couple weeks ago we carved pumpkins with Aunt Brit! I thought Autumn would be more enthusiatic about it...at least the gutting part. Well, she wasn't into it sooo we had to do it by ourselves. Also the pumpkins did not make it to Halloween before they rotted.
I carved the spider and Frank, Chris did the pumpkin in the middle!
Autumn did give a try though!
